Before You Go
Here’s a note that came in from one of our recent challenges in the Wild Challenge app.
Hi Abel, I hope you and Alyson are well.
I am feeling great, thank you very much!
I loved your 14-Day Clean Eating Challenge. I eat pretty clean most of the time but it makes you more aware of what you are eating when you have to write it down!!
With the help of your challenges, I have lost 4kg and definitely cm all over. I didn’t measure but did take before pics. Will do after pic tomorrow morning! I can now get into shorts I wasn’t fitting into in January.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Please let me know what the next challenges are. Have a great weekend.
Cheers,
Siobhan (in South Africa)
Wow, thank you so much for this note, Siobhan.
I can’t even translate centimeters into inches over here, so bear with me, but it’s so true, just by tracking what you’re doing, even just writing it down in an old fashioned journal or certainly taking pictures of your meals throughout the day, these kind of visceral tracking mechanisms can really help change your behavior because you’re more accountable when you keep track.
It’s so easy to just ghost some food into your mouth without ever really noticing what’s happening.
Most of the things that we’re doing throughout the day are actually on autopilot and we don’t have conscious control over a lot of our behaviors, even if we think we do.
So good on you for tracking and most importantly, changing your behavior and getting great results, that’s so awesome.
So your question about the next Wild Challenge, we’re going to be doing new challenges each month from here on out.
You can find all that and join the next Wild Challenge over at WildSuperfoods.com/app
We’re really proud of our new Wild Challenges, we have people joining in from all across the world, whether you’re in South Africa or in Italy or anywhere else, you can join in the fun, as well.
You get nutrition and movement trackers, meal plans all laid out for you, a built-in meditation timer, interactivity with me and other coaches. We’re even sending out goodie boxes with free Wild Superfoods to the winner of our challenges, and doing a bunch of giveaways with Future Greens, Collagen Cocoa, Vitamin D Stack, even huggable bacon pillows and much, much more.
So if you’d like to join our next Wild Challenge and our next Mega Giveaaway, make sure to go to WildSuperfoods.com/app
And don’t forget to use the code WILD25 to save 25% off your next challenge.
Now a quick note and a special discount for you from our sponsors. This episode was brought to you by our family company, Wild Superfoods over at wildsuperfoods.com, and our friends at White Oak Pastures and Four Sigmatic.
As far as quality goes, White Oak Pastures has some of the highest quality meats out there, and they’ll deliver right to your front door.
Their meats are grass-fed and raised on pasture on their regenerative family farm in Bluffton, Georgia.
From a taste and freshness perspective the incredible variety of meats from White Oak Pastures has been a favorite in our family for years.
We’ve lived in Georgia, Tennessee, Arizona, Florida, Texas and now Colorado, many places all over. And it’s so convenient that you can get this high-quality meat delivered right to your home.
I highly recommend trying White Oak Pastures yourself, because right now for a limited time you can save 20% off with this special coupon code: WILD
Click here to place your order of pasture-raised meats from White Oak Pastures, and be sure to use coupon code WILD to save 20% off your order.
I’m looking forward to hearing how you like it.
And if you like coffee, like I do, make sure to check out the mushroom coffee from Four Sigmatic.
They have a bunch of different options, but today I’m drinking a mushroom coffee that’s real organic, fair trade and single origin with Lion’s Mane mushroom for productivity and Chaga mushroom for a little immune boost.
If you’re concerned about this coffee tasting a little too mushroomy or something, don’t worry, it’s nutty and dark without the slightest hint of mushroom flavor as opposed to some of the stuff that we make ourselves at home.
It’s quite tasty in fact, and we found this particular coffee very convenient when we’re on the go.
And right now you can save up to 40% off plus get free shipping on Four Sigmatic’s mushroom coffee bundles.
Click Here for 40% off Four Sigmatic Mushroom Coffee (+ free shipping!)
You can fuel your productivity and creativity with some delicious mushroom coffee. Thanks so much for listening.
One more quick note, if you haven’t watched it yet, you can watch Dr. Gittleman’s previous appearance on this show.
Make sure to check that out, too. We talk in detail about the startling research behind smartphone use and cancer, even talk about Dr. Gittleman’s personal experience with cancer and how she recovered. We talk about how the gallbladder is related to fat gain, why people fail on keto, and much more.
Check out Dr. Gittleman’s past episode, it’s a really good one.
